Wij organiseren maandelijks ons cocktail-event. Bij zes van deze events is ook de GGD aanwezig. Tijdens deze momenten is het mogelijk om je gratis te laten testen op soa’s en een Hepatitis B-vaccinatie te krijgen.
Deze events zijn uitsluitend bedoeld voor vluchtelingen en asielzoekers. Registratie is verplicht. De registratielink wordt gedeeld via onze WhatsApp-groep.

We organize our cocktail event on a monthly basis. At six of these events, the public health service (GGD) will also be present. During these events, you can get tested for STIs and receive a Hepatitis B vaccination free of charge.
These events are exclusively for refugees and asylum seekers. Registration is required. The registration link will be shared via our WhatsApp group.

COCktail intends to end the isolation of lgbti+ refugees and asylum seekers. We want to introduce lgbti+ persons to the Dutch society and the lgbti+ community in particular. Of course this happens in a fun and safe way.
We want to help improving the social climate for and the safety of lgbti+ newcomers and migrants in the Netherlands. lgbti+ persons are often discriminated in large parts of the world. In some countries they are imprisoned or even sentenced to death. Sometimes fleeing their own country is the only option.
lgbti+ persons have to leave their family and friends behind for an uncertain future in a foreign country. In addition, the sexual orientation of lgbti+ refugees is often not accepted or tolerated by their fellow newcomers in the refugee centers, just like in their country of origin. This can lead to severe forms of violence, isolation, and feelings of anxiety, or depression.
COCktail wil het isolement van lhbti+ asielzoekers en vluchtelingen doorbreken en hen op een veilige manier introduceren in de Nederlandse samenleving.
COCktail wil bijdragen aan het verbeteren van het leefklimaat en de veiligheid van lhbti+ nieuwkomers en migranten in Nederland. lhbti+ personen worden in grote delen van de wereld gediscrimineerd en bedreigd. In een aantal landen staat hen gevangenisstraf of zelfs de doodstraf te wachten. Vluchten is vaak de enige mogelijkheid.
Maar ook in Nederland zijn de discriminatie en bedreiging nog niet geweken: gender en/of geaardheid wordt, net als in het land van herkomst, dikwijls niet geaccepteerd door andere nieuwkomers in en buiten de vluchtelingencentra. Dit kan leiden tot ernstige vormen van (fysiek) geweld, eenzaamheid, angst en depressiviteit.
